Meet the Millers! Emily and Steve (who met in the same smelly New Jersey college newsroom we met in) celebrated their union during Valentine’s Day weekend with their siblings and parents in Savannah, Georgia. While their relationship has been six years in the making, these two spent fewer than three months planning their wedding day and the details came together beautifully — from the family’s accidental outfit coordination to their intimate ceremony under the shade of spanish moss to an unplanned first dance to a River Street busker’s rendition of “At Last.”
The love between them was contagious and we had an amazing time documenting every minute of it. Congrats, Emily and Steve!

J: Two of the smartest, most beautiful future doctors we know are getting married next year (sometime between med school, med school and more med school). A few weeks ago, I photographed them at Rutgers’ Douglass campus, where Aisha and Benjy spent a good portion of their undergrad. Congrats to my molé + challah chefs, fellow Beirut lovers, and longtime friends!

Not-so-breaking news: Ramon and Jovelle have bid “adieu” to SLO-town and are now Seattelites! We neglected MP for a hot minute to deal with moving and other life duties, but you’ll see a lot more of us now that we’re mostly settled in. Love Never Felt So Good - Victoria and Mark // Santa Monica Pier
We drove down to the greater Los Angeles area a couple weeks ago and had the chance to shoot with Mark and Victoria — an awesome couple we know from NJ. They met up with us at Santa Monica Pier and we shot for a bit while the sun went down. Wish we had more time to work with them because they were so fun and photogenic!
Alex and Vanessa // San Luis Obispo, CA Engagement
We both met and worked with Alex during our tenure as editors for our college newspaper. Vanessa, his now fiancé, has been his partner-in-crime for as long as we've known him.
After graduation, he moved on to work with papers in Connecticut, Alaska and now, San Luis Obispo in California. When Ramon accepted an offer to work with SLO-based surf photographer Chris Burkard, Alex and Vanessa opened up their new home in California to him until he found a place of his own. They literally kept Ramon off the streets and for that, we're truly grateful. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality and for this fun West Coast engagement shoot — our first official gig as Mount Penguin!
