Aisha and Benjy // New Brunswick Engagement
J: Two of the smartest, most beautiful future doctors we know are getting married next year (sometime between med school, med school and more med school). A few weeks ago, I photographed them at Rutgers’ Douglass campus, where Aisha and Benjy spent a good portion of their undergrad. Congrats to my molé + challah chefs, fellow Beirut lovers, and longtime friends!
Alex and Vanessa // San Luis Obispo, CA Engagement
We both met and worked with Alex during our tenure as editors for our college newspaper. Vanessa, his now fiancé, has been his partner-in-crime for as long as we've known him.
After graduation, he moved on to work with papers in Connecticut, Alaska and now, San Luis Obispo in California. When Ramon accepted an offer to work with SLO-based surf photographer Chris Burkard, Alex and Vanessa opened up their new home in California to him until he found a place of his own. They literally kept Ramon off the streets and for that, we're truly grateful. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality and for this fun West Coast engagement shoot — our first official gig as Mount Penguin!
